A no-bond arrest warrant has been issued for a convicted sex offender who was twice directed last year to register an address change in Warren County but failed to do so, according to court documents.
Dallas M. Cook, 47, was charged Wednesday, July 22, with failure to register as a sex offender, a felony, and an arrest warrant was issued Thursday, July 23.
Cook was convicted in Oregon in 2015 of first-degree attempted sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol sex offender registry. He was 34 years old at the time of his offense in November 2013.
Cook was directed to register a Warren County address change in March and September of 2025, but never did so, according to a probable cause statement.
He was continued on probation in St. Charles County for failing to register as a sex offender and was directed to register in July of 2025, but allegedly never did so.
Cook was convicted of failure to register as a sex offender in Warren County in March 2023 and in St. Charles County in October 2023. Cook failed to appear for multiple court proceedings in his Warren County criminal case, according to the probable cause statement, and reported to authorities that he was living in Illinois.
