County Clerk Barb Daly is reminding voters that they will be asked to show a photo ID before they vote in local elections April 3. Photo ID requirements for elections in Missouri went into effect in June 2017.There are three ways to meet the photo ID requirement:• Show a government-issued photo ID, which could be a driver license, nondriver license, passport or military ID.• Sign a provided statement and show one of the following: voter registration card, ID from a Missouri college or vocational school, utility bill or bank statement, government check, paycheck, or another government document showing your name and address.• Vote with a provisional ballot, and then either provide a signature that matches your signature in the voter registry, or return to the polling place with a photo ID.Registered voters who have changed their addresses must also update their registrations.Information on voter registration can be obtained by calling the county clerk’s office at 636-456-3331.Anyone who wants a photo ID to vote and doesn’t have one, the Missouri Secretary of State’s office will help them obtain one nondriver license for free.
