Tax increases for Wright City Fire Protection District and Warren County R-III School District are on the August ballot.Warren County residents who are not registered voters can register at the county clerk’s office in the Warren County Administration Building, 101 Mockingbird Lane in Warrenton. The clerk’s office is open Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Once registered, listed below is how to vote on election day:Option 1 — Present one of the following forms of valid ID: driver license, nondriver license, passport, military ID, voter registration card, an ID from a Missouri university, college, vocational or technical school, utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document showing name and address.Option 2 — Anyone registered to vote who does not have an ID can vote a provisional ballot. There are two ways a vote counts: if a signature matches the signature in the voter registry or if voters come back to the polling place and show a photo ID.Registered voters who have changed their addresses also must update their voter registrations.Information on voter registration can be obtained by calling the Warren County Clerk’s Office at 636-456-3331.The Missouri Secretary of State’s Office will help people obtain one nondriver license for free.
