March 9 is the deadline for residents to register to vote in the April 5 municipal elections.
Warren County residents who are not registered voters can register at the County Clerk’s office in the County Administration Building, 101 Mockingbird Lane, Ste 302, Warrenton, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Registered voters who have changed their addresses must also update their registrations. Information on voter registration can be obtained by calling the County Clerk’s office at 636-456-3331.
A valid form of identification is required in order to vote. If you want a photo ID to vote and don’t have one, the Missouri Secretary of State’s Office will help you obtain one (1) non-driver license for free. You may call the ShowIt2Vote Hotline toll free at 866-868-3245 or email ShowIt2Vote@sos.mo.gov for help.

Absentee ballots may be cast in the office of County Clerk Denise Stotler for the April 5 election between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 2.
Registered voters unable to vote on April 5 because of absence from the county, illness or physical disability, caretakers of those incapacitated or confined due to illness or disability, religious belief or practice, employment as an election authority, eligible incarcerated persons, and certified participants in the address confidentiality program, may request an absentee ballot from the Clerk’s Office by email, fax, in person or online.
Absentee ballots will be mailed upon written requests received no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 23. Please be advised that when requesting an absentee ballot by mail, the request must be in writing, signed and must state your name, address at which you are registered, your reason for requesting an absentee ballot, the address to which the ballot is to be mailed and if you are a registered voter that registered by mail and are voting for the first time, you must send a photocopy of your photo ID (driver’s license, non-drivers license, passport or military ID) along with your request for an absentee ballot.
