The Tribute to Veterans Memorial committee is asking community members to consider three ways of giving to support the upkeep and maintenance of the memorial site that honors local veterans who gave their lives in war.
If you are interested in helping sponsor the Tribute to Veterans Memorial, please contact either Kathy Daly at (636) 544-5210 or Ralph Hellebusch at (314) 267-0910. You can also send an e-mail to either Kathy Daly at ksdaly@centurytel.net or Ralph Hellebusch at ralph.hellebusch@gmail.com.
The committee estimates it will need to replace flags twice a year. The TTVM committee is accepting two sponsors per flag to offset this expense. As a way of saying thank you, the web site will display the individual / company info on the page describing the flag.
The committee estimates it will need to polish the statue and lettering on the wall once per year. The committee is accepting up to eight sponsors to defray these costs. As a way of saying thank you, the web site will display the individual / company info on the page describing the statue.
One of the largest expenses is insurance. The Guardian sponsorship program is a way the public can donate whatever they want. Unlike the flag and statue sponsorships, this program will accept any donation.
