The public is invited to a service honoring all veterans to be held at American Legion Daniel Boone Post 180 at 11 a.m., Nov. 11. The guest speaker will be Mr. Dave Cochard, a U.S. Air Force pilot who flew 188 combat missions during the Vietnam War. Dave earned the Air Medal with six Silver Oak Leaf Clusters.

The Legion will display its avenue of flags and military honors with a gun salute and “Taps.” Following the service there will be a fellowship dinner with meat and drink provided. Everyone is welcome for the service, the meal and the afternoon activities.
