A Marthasville teenager suffered moderate injuries Wednesday, May 29, when he was struck by a car while he was riding his bicyle along Highway D north of Sycamore Lane, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol. Kyle D. Coffman, 14, was taken to Mercy Hospital Washington by Marthasville ambulance following the 2:48 p.m. incident, the highway patrol reported. Coffman was traveling south along the edge of Highway D when a Ford Mustang struck him. The unidentified motorist fled the scene and continued south on Highway D, the highway patrol reported.
