UPDATE: All Marthasville streets reopen; flash flood warning issued

All roads are now open in Marthasville, Police Chief Gene Jenkins reported.

Highway D in Marthasville reopened earlier, around 11 a.m. this morning.

Authorities are encouraging motorists to not drive through flowing water.

Multiple streets in the lower section of Marthasville have been closed due to flash floods Tuesday morning.

Marthasville Police Chief Gene Jenkins said streets near the creek that runs through the city have been closed. He said water was 4-foot high on Pecan Street earlier this morning.
