A Warren County man who was unconscious in the drive-thru of a fast-food restaurant is facing multiple drug-related charges related to the incident.Johnny D. Smith Jr., 38, of South Circle Street in Wright City, is charged with felony drug possession and two misdemeanor counts for marijuana possession and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.Smith was in the drive-thru at Dairy Queen around 8:44 p.m. on Oct. 23 when he lost consciousness. Smith’s 4-year-old son unbuckled himself and went inside the restaurant to alert staff, according to the probable cause statement.A responding police officer believed Smith was under the influence of drugs and observed syringes inside the vehicle. Also seized during a search were capsules containing heroin and used syringes, police reported.Drug charges
