Weather permitting, Highway 47 in Warrenton will close at the Interstate 70 interchange beginning at 7 p.m. on March 27 to allow construction to begin on the replacement of the Route 47 bridge over I‑70. During the closure, motorists needing to cross I‑70 should follow the posted detours to the interchanges at Route MM/Warrenton Boulevard (Exit 191) or Wildcat Drive in Wright City (Exit 199).
To maintain safe pedestrian access across I‑70 throughout the project, temporary transportation assistance will be available for residents utilizing Uber or OATS Transit services.
Uber riders may receive a 50 percent discount on trips associated with the detour by visiting https://r.uber.com/47bridge and entering the voucher code “47bridge.”
OATS Transit services is also available in Warrenton on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Reservations are required and may be scheduled by calling 1‑800‑654‑6287.
