Two Wright City residents were involved in a two car accident around 7:30 a.m. Monday.
Ward Ferrell, 81, of Wright City was traveling east on Route M in Warren County early Monday morning. Ferrell attempted to make a left turn onto Route H while Thomas Bates, 48, also of Wright City, was traveling west on Route M.
Ferrell then struck Bates' vehicle while he was turning left, according to the crash report.
Bates was transported by private conveyance to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis with minor injuries. Ferrell did not report any injuries.
Both vehicles were totaled and removed from the scene by Approved Towing.
