Two teenagers, 16 and 17, from Wentzville were injured in an accident involving a 2024 Honda Pioneer on the evening of Oct. 5.
The pair were traveling west on a private gravel road road near Hawk Farms Lane in Warren County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
According to the crash report, the driver lost control of the vehicle on the gravel road and they began to skid and then traveled off the right side of the roadway. The front of the vehicle then struck a utility pole and one of the teenagers was ejected from the vehicle.
One teenager sustained serious injuries in the accident and was transported to St. Louis Children's Hospital by Arch Helicopter and the other received minor injuries and was taken to SSM Health St, Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis by the Warren County Ambulance District.
Neither of the teenagers were wearing a seatbelt in the accident.
The Warren County Sheriff's Department assisted on the call.
