Two Warrenton athletes, Austin Haas and Avery Shaw. recently broke school records.
Haas, who plays on the baseball team, scored his 105th career run on April 16 to break the school record for career runs. In addition, Haas recently collected his 100th career hit on April 12. He now ranks third overall in school history for the most career hits.
Shaw, who competes on the track and field team, shattered a school record that was previously set by her in the javelin throw on April 23 at the Washington NIX Relays meet. She threw 33.83 meters to set the new record.
