A 21-year-old Warrenton woman and a 25-year-old Warrenton man were injured in a two-car accident on the afternoon of Aug. 13 in Warren County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A 21-year-old Warrenton woman and a 25-year-old Warrenton man were injured in a two-car accident on the afternoon of Aug. 13 in Warren County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred on the north outer road of Interstate 70, west of Stracks Church Road. The Warrenton woman was driving west on the road with the Warrenton man as a passenger when she slowed to make a right turn. A Lake St. Louis man, 65, was traveling behind them and did not notice they were slowing down, according to the patrol.
He then struck the rear of the Warrenton woman’s vehicle.
Both the Warrenton woman and Warrenton man sustained moderate injuries in the accident and were transported to SSM St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis via ambulance. The Warrenton man was not wearing his seat belt during the accident.
The Lake St. Louis man did not report any injuries in the accident, according to the patrol.
