Two Truxton women, 55 and 67, were injured in a single-car accident in Warren County on the morning of June 30, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The 55-year-old Truxton woman was driving south on Route W north of Palmyra Road when she traveled off the right side of the road. According to the patrol, the vehicle then struck a driveway embankment, became airborne and struck a tree.
The 55-year-old woman sustained serious injuries in the accident while the 67-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries. Both were transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis via ambulance.
