Two Lincoln County residents were caught on tape during a Sept. 29 incident in which the suspects used a sledgehammer to break a security alarm off an emergency exit door at the Warrenton Wal-Mart, disarmed the alarm and removed over $1,900 of products from the store.A Wal-Mart employee alerted Warrenton police to the incident several days later and provided camera footage showing one male and one female involved in the theft, according to documents from the county prosecutor’s office. The suspects used a cart to push the items to a green Ford pickup and left the area with them.Upon reviewing information from another theft from a Wal-Mart in Lake Saint Louis, authorities identified William J. Hodge, 53, and Heather Fisher, 33, both of Foley, as suspects in the theft. Hodge also has pending theft charges from St. Peters and Wentzville, as well as pending felony drug charges from Wright City and Truesdale.Fisher is charged with receiving stolen property, a felony.
