The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will close two different bridges along Route 94 in southern Warren County beginning this weekend. The bridge over Koch Creek near Treloar will be closed beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, for repairs to install a vertical drain, work on erosion control under the west end of the bridge and repair the pavement. The bridge will open to traffic Sunday evening, Oct. 10. Dates and times are weather permitting. Beginning that Monday, the bridge will be restricted to one lane of traffic for about two weeks and be controlled by temporary signals. The bridge over Charrette Creek near Marthasville will be closed beginning Monday, Oct. 11, at 9 a.m. and will remain closed for less than a month, weather permitting. Crews will begin replacing the old expansion joints, work on a new surface overlay, remove the existing guardrail and work on erosion control. Signs indicating a detour around the bridge closure will recommend motorists use Route 47 and Route N, around the Charrette Creek bridge closure, which will require an additional three to four miles of travel. Message boards will be posted at Routes 19, 47, 94, U and N junctions advising motorists of the road closures. Motorists are encouraged to choose alternate routes such as Route 100 or Interstate 70 to Route 47 or 19 to visit the Washington and Hermann areas.
