Christopher Hauk, 28, of Moscow Mills, and Darrell Dillon, 35, of Foley, were each charged with one count of second-degree burglary, two counts of stealing a motor vehicle and one county of stealing $750 or more. All charges are felonies.
According to the probable cause statement filed by Warren County Sheriff’s Department Detective Jeff Doerr, the charges stem from an investigation started by the department on March 4.
Officers responded to a reported burglary on March 4 in Marthasville where the victim said his barn was broken into, and two four-wheelers were stolen, according to the probable cause statement. The victim estimated the value of the four-wheelers was roughly $4,000.
Later that day, the two four-wheelers were discovered at one of the suspects’ residences along with a trailer. There was damage to the ignitions of both four-wheelers, according to the probable cause statement.
Warrants were issued for both men’s arrests and they are to be held on a $10,000 bond each.
