Two Innsbrook residents were injured, one seriously, in a car crash on northbound Highway T and Highway N, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at 5:44 a.m. in St. Charles County.
According to the accident report, a 2013 Chevrolet 3500 driven by David L. Alexander, 39 of Union, was traveling northbound on Highway T south of Highway N.
Alexander failed to stop at the stop sign and struck the 2014 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Michael E. Shilharvey, 63 of Innsbrook.
Shilharvey and his passenger, Nancy L. Shilharvey, 67 also of Innsbrook, suffered injuries in the crash. Michael Shilharvery's injures were listed as moderate. Nancy Shilharvey's were listed as serious.
Both were transported by St. Charles County Ambulance District. Michael Shilharvey was taken to Mercy Creve Couer; Nancy Shilharvey was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
No additional information about either person's injuries were immediately available.
Both Shilharvey's were wearing their seatbelts.
Alexander was not injured in the crash. The report indicates he was not wearing his safety device.
Both cars suffered extensive damage and were towed from the scene.
