A Warrenton driver and passenger were injured in a crash Saturday, Aug. 22, at the intersection of the Interstate 70 North Service Road and Park Drive, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened shortly before 4 p.m., according to the highway patrol, when the driver of a 2012 Ford Taurus, a 23-year-old Warrenton woman, ran off the right side of the roadway while traveling eastbound and struck trees.
Both the driver and her passenger, a 25-year-old Warrenton man, sustained moderate injuries in the crash. They were transported to SSM St. Joseph Hospital West by Warren County Ambulance District personnel for treatment. Both were wearing seat belts. The vehicle was totaled.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of the occupants involved in injury crashes.
