Two Warren County residents were injured when they were thrown from the bed of a pickup truck, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported.The patrol said the accident happened about 6:36 p.m. Monday, July 25, on Massas Creek Road, a mile south of Railroad Street, west of Warrenton.The driver of the 1996 Dodge Dakota truck, Joey L. Glass, 34, Jonesburg, is facing charges in connection with the crash, according to the patrol.The patrol said Glass was driving southbound, too fast for road conditions, and the truck hit a bump in the road, causing him to lose control.The truck traveled off the left side of the road and overturned, ejecting John F. Olds, 59, Jonesburg, and Devin M. Price, 16, New Florence, who were in the truck bed, according to the preliminary patrol report.Olds was transported by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis, Creve Coeur. Price and a child passenger, Joey M. Glass, 4, Jonesburg, were taken by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital West, Lake Saint Louis. Olds and Price received moderate injuries, the patrol said, while the child’s injuries were described as minor.Joey L. Glass was issued citations for allegedly driving while intoxicated and assault, according to an arrest report on the patrol’s website.The truck was totaled.Injuries
