Two area people were injured over the weekend in separate motorcycle crashes in Lincoln County.James R. Denman, 62, Wright City, was traveling north on Highway J Saturday, May 19, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. At the intersection with Highway U, the 2015 Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned, a preliminary report states.The crash happened at 9:45 a.m. Denman suffered moderate injuries. He was wearing a helmet.Denman was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis by Lincoln County EMS.On Sunday, May 20, Anthony E. McCallister, 49, Foristell, was travelling north on Highway W 1 mile south of Highway JJ, when he encountered a deer on the road.McCallister braked and attempted to avoid the door, causing the 2014 Yamaha motorcycle he was riding to overturn, according to the highway patrol. McCallister was thrown from the vehicle. He was not wearing a helmet.He suffered moderate injuries and was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis by Lincoln County EMS.MOTORCYCLE CRASH
