Two staff members at Warren County school districts are up for significant honors.
Dr. Stacie Goldsmith, principal of Daniel Boone Elementary School in Warrenton, was nominated for this year’s National Life Group “Life Changer of the Year” award.
She was nominated by an anonymous colleague, according to the National Life Group website.
“Ms. Goldsmith has been my principal for 6 years,” said the nominator. “She helped me grow so much as a teacher and person. She takes care of her staff and works hard every day. School is her heart, and you can tell by her personality and attitude. She is the proud principal of Daniel Boone Elementary School.”
She will now be considered alongside nominees from 31 other states for the nationwide award.
In the R-II School District, Erin Williams was awarded the 2023 MOASPA HR Administrator of the Year Award.
Williams currently serves as the vice president of the R-II board of education. She’s also the executive director of human resources for Fort Zumwalt School District.
