The Warren County Health Department has two flu shot clinics for adults at its office at 101 Mockingbird Lane, Suite 100, in Warrenton.

The clinics will be offered from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, and 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28.

The flu shot is free to senior citizens whose primary health insurance is Medicare Part B. Medicare Part B carriers need to have their cards with them to receive a free shot.

The health department is unable to bill other insurance carriers.

Flu shots otherwise cost $35 cash or check. There is an additional $2 processing fee for debit and credit card transactions.

Individuals who are 65 and older will receive a high dose vaccine.

People older than 18 do not need an appointment.

People 18 and younger who need flu shots should call 636-456-7474 to make an appointment.
