Two people were transported to the hospital following a collision at the intersection of Highway 47 and Highway 94 on Saturday, April 8.
The driver of a 2006 Suzuki GSX-R600, identified as 31-year-old Janine E. Lagarce, of Union, had serious injuries, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. A seven-year-old girl was riding on Lagarce’s motorcycle and had minor injuries. Both were ejected and transported to Mercy Washington.
The patrol reported Lagarce was traveling southbound when the motorcycle struck the rear of a 2019 Ford Fiesta driven by Carrie L. Hupp, 324, of Ballwin. Hupp's vehicle had been stopped at a red light, the patrol said.
