Two St. Louis men are accused of stealing tires from two automobiles parked at a local dealership.Marvin Young, 56, and Milliard Carpenter, 52, were both recently charged with felony stealing. An arrest warrant has been issued for both suspects with bond set at $10,000.The alleged incident occurred sometime between midnight on April 5 and 2:15 a.m. on April 6, police said, at Gastorf Chevrolet. Once the theft was reported, Warren County deputies observed two vehicles — 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche and 2013 Chevrolet Silverado — sitting on blocks with the tires and rims missing. The estimated value of the theft was around $8,000.Nearly a month later, Young and Carpenter were identified as being involved in a similar stealing incident at a dealership in Collinsville, Ill.Both men had taken wheels and tires from several dealerships over the past four to five months in both Missouri and Illinois, according to the probable cause statement.Crime
