Two people from West Virginia were arrested last week after Warrenton police found drugs in their vehicle while parked in a store parking lot.The suspects, Heather D. Roush, 28, and Charles E. Ray, 47, were each charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Warrenton police were dispatched to the Walmart parking lot following the report of a suspicious vehicle and possible drug use.According to the probable cause statement, the officer detected a strong odor of pot when he approached the vehicle. During a search, a black container was located inside the dashboard that allegedly contained a green leafy substance identified as marijuana and a white crystal substance that tested positive for meth, police reported. Both occupants were taken into custody around 8:42 a.m.Warrenton Police Chief Greg Houdyshell said the suspects had no known local ties to the area and were traveling through.Dispute turns violent
