The city of Truesdale will pay almost $23,000 for concrete repairs on three city streets.
Two of the sites are in the city’s industrial park, on Daniel Boone Industrial Parkway and South Spoede Lane. Those repairs will cost about $9,800 and $9,100, respectively.
Workers also will patch concrete at the intersection of Laura Street and Smith Street, for a cost of about $4,000. Those repairs are in addition to an ongoing repaving project on Smith Street.
T.S. Banze Construction submitted the low bids to carry out all three repair jobs. Karrenbrock Construction also submitted bids that were about $3,500 higher in total.
“(T.S.) Banze’s bid was quite a bit cheaper on the Laura Street-Smith Street area, and the others were within a couple hundred dollars, but (T.S. Banze) was lower on all three bids,” Public Works Director Gilbert Nordwald said.
T.S. Banze also is the company repaving Smith Street, a $151,000 project.
