The Katy Trail was full of riders enjoying the fall weather on Sunday, Oct. 20. Many stopped at the Treloar trailhead to enjoy the annual Treloar Elevator Party where they could tour the new State Park Visitor’s Center located in the mercantile, enjoy music and food, check out the Treloar Trees native plantings and Missouri’s biggest ear of corn. The event is sponsored by Magnificent Missouri whose mission is to “conserve and increase appreciation of the Katy Trail and the last 100 miles of the Missouri River Valley through education, events and collaborative projects.
