A St. Charles man is facing a felony drug charge following an Oct. 8 traffic stop.According to court documents, Travis John Dyer, 22, was arrested after police stopped a vehicle traveling 60 mph in a 45 mph speed zone on North Service Road at Highway AA. Both Dyer and the driver of the vehicle, Tydarrel Griffin, had suspended drivers licenses, according to reports.While getting the keys for the tow truck driver, police smelled marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Police observed a clear plastic sandwich bag containing several smaller bags of a green leafy substance on the floor of the passenger side of the vehicle. Police estimated the weight of the marijuana at more than 5 grams.Dyer was charged with one count of distributing/delivering/manufacturing/produce or attempting to or possess with intent to distributing/delivering/manufacturing/produce a controlled substance.Dyer is being held on a $25,000 bond.Traffic Stop Leads to Felony Drug Charge
