The Knights of Columbus will host their 15th annual Journey for Charity Tractor Cruise on Sunday, Sep. 11, 2022, to benefit the food pantries of Franklin and Warren counties. The main donation collection points will be at St. Ignatius, St. Paul’s UCC, St. Vincent de Paul, and Immaculate Conception churches. Service vehicles will also be collecting canned goods and cash donations all along the route.

The north route is a 30-mile, approximately 4-hour-long cruise from Concord Hill to Washington. The day will begin with a 9:30 a.m. blessing of the fleet at St. Ignatius Church in Marthasville. From there, the cruise will begin at 10:15, traveling Highway 94 through Charrette Bottom, then along Highway 47 to Dutzow, continuing on 94 again to Augusta, backtracking along Augusta Bottom Road, returning to Highway 47, and finally arriving at the Washington Knights of Columbus Hall off of Highway 100 in Washington around 2 p.m.

A barbecue and tractor show will follow the cruise from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Washington KC Hall, the fifth and final donation collection point. There will be tractors on display, a pedal tractor pull for children, and barbecue, beverages, hats and T-shirts available for purchase.

For more information or to sign up for the cruise, call John Jasper at 314-581-6968.
