Tournament to fund AED for ballfield

A kickball tournament will be held Saturday, May 20, to raise money for the installation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) at the Marthasville Sports Complex. Cori’s Twin Gables Bar and Grill, Marthasville Community Outreach and the Marthasville Community Club are sponsoring the event.The first kick-off will begin at 9 a.m. at the ballfield in Marthasville and continue until 10 p.m. The cost is $10 per person or $100 per team of 10 to 12 players. All players must be at least 18 years old.Admission is free. Food and beverages will be available at the concession stand at the ballpark.Additional proceeds will go to the Marthasville Community Outreach Program to aid area families in a time of need.Donations and auction items are being collected. Dunker Auction will hold a live auction beginning at 1:30 p.m.To contribute or donate an auction item, contact Cori Simpkins at 314-303-3403 or mail to Cori’s Twin Gables, 101 Highway 47, Marthasville, MO 63357.
