To The Editor:On the morning of Sept. 17, Warrenton High School and the entire Warren County R-III School District received the tragic news that one of our students had been fatally injured in a multi-vehicle accident while on the way to school. As we scrambled to send out appropriate alerts to parents, students and staff, we were also working to bring in counselors to the high school for both our students and staff. While doing so, Wright City Superintendent Dr. David Buck made available a team of counselors from the Wright City R-II School District to assist in these efforts. Dr. Buck also took the time to come to Warrenton High School to check in on everyone and offer any needed assistance. We would like to thank Dr. Buck for his compassion and the time spent in our building as well as the team of counselors who came to the high school to assist. We appreciate all of them and the good-neighbor aspect of their efforts. On behalf of all of Warrior Nation, thank you.Dr. Gregg KlinginsmithSuperintendent of SchoolsWarren County R-III School District
