Three Warrenton boys soccer players were recently honored with postseason conference awards. Junior Isaac Wagner earned first team Gateway Athletic Conference North honors. Wagner led the Warriors’ with 44 goals and 12 assists. Out of those 44 goals, four of them were game-winning goals.
Junior Nolan Donovan earned second-team honors. The midfielder ended the season with 10 goals, six assists and two game-winning goals. In addition, senior Connor Claspille earned the sportsmanship award. Claspille ended his high school career with one goal and five assists this season.
Warrenton ended with a 13-11 season record, which was their first winning season since 2016.
The Warriors also had multiple players named to the all-academic team. Wagner, Donovan, Claspille, Caleb Hackmann, Gavin Inman, Hudson Kieffer, Jeremiah Loeffler and Evan Donovan all received recognition for their work in the classroom.
