Three Warrenton High School students medaled at the Academic Challenge state competition in Illinois.
Alice Briggs, Roy Briggs and Uriah Koester all earned a medal at the state competition. Alice Briggs placed second in English and Roy Briggs placed second in computer science. Koester placed fifth in engineering graphics.
The state competition was held at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Ill. Warrenton competed at the state competition after placing second in sectionals in the large school division.
