Three Meth Labs Found in Warrenton Home

A Warrenton couple was arrested last Thursday after investigators found three methamphetamine labs at their home, authorities said. Samuel A. Akers, 42, and Danielle L. Akers, 31, were charged with possession, distribution, and manufacturing of methamphetamine.On Sept. 5, investigators with the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, the Warrenton Police Department, and the East Central Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the Akers’ home near the 600 block of Johannaber.The search was the culmination of an investigation into allegations that the couple was manufacturing and selling methamphetamine. Detectives located two active meth labs in the garage and another hidden in the bathroom wall. Police also recovered a small quantity of suspected heroin.Samuel Akers was taken to the Warren County Jail and during a search, a bag of methamphetamine was found in his mouth.Bond was set at $45,000 for Samuel Akers and at $35,000 for Danielle Akers.
