Looking for something fun to do Friday and Saturday? Three events today and tomorrow could offer a break from the normal weekend routine.A "Downtown Sip and Stroll" will offer the chance to taste a variety of wines at downtown Warrenton businesses Friday evening. Visitors to Main Street between 5-7 p.m. can pick up a wine glass at Deerfield's On Main, then visit participating businesses to taste different wines and meet the owners.Sip and Stroll participants could be eligible to win a wine basket along with coupons and other items.Weekend early risers can get out to Snap Fitness in Wright City for the second annual 5K Pump and Run organized by the Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce. The event starts at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, June 2, with bench presses. For every bench press rep, competitors get to take 15 seconds off their 5K run time.The run portion starts at 9 a.m. There is an entry fee of $15.Also on Saturday, Warren County Safety Festival is being hosted at the Warren County Administration Building from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The administration building is located at 101 Mockingbird Lane.The festival is meant to educate visitors on any and all aspects of safety for adults and children.
