Three men in Warren County are charged with three separate assaults.Nathaniel JonesNathaniel Jones, Wright City, is charged with domestic assault at a home on Kerland Drive in Wright City on Jan. 29.The victim informed police that Jones choked her with both hands, covering her nose and mouth, according to a police report. The officer reportedly observed redness around the victim’s neck.Jones has two prior convictions for second-degree domestic assault and third-degree domestic assault, both committed in 2015. He now is charged with second-degree domestic assault, as a persistent offender.He was taken to the Warren County Jail and held on a $10,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for Feb. 15.Brian DietzBrian Dietz, Marthasville, is charged with second-degree domestic assault after the victim came to the Warren County Sheriff’s Department Jan. 28 to report the incident.The victim told a deputy that a verbal altercation the previous day led to violence, according to a report from the sheriff’s department.Dietz allegedly was upset that the victim was being disrespectful toward him during a family member’s birthday party the previous day. The victim stated that Dietz grabbed her hair and put his hand around her neck, choking her.During an interview with a deputy, Dietz reportedly said the victim was disrespectful by being distant and not talking to him. He allegedly admitted to the assault.Dietz was taken to the Warren County Jail on the charges and posted a $10,000 bond. An arraignment is scheduled for Feb. 15.James FosterJames Foster, Wright City, is charged with a second-degree domestic assault that occurred in late December.The sheriff’s department was dispatched to the 28000 block of Orchard Farm Circle Dec. 27 for a domestic assault in progress. Upon arrival, a deputy heard a male voice inside threatening to kill someone and a female voice crying, according to a sheriff’s department report.When the deputy announced himself, the female reportedly cried out for help. There was movement inside the residence, before the female unlocked and opened the door.She stated Foster had attacked her and fled out the back door, according to the report.The deputy observed swelling on the victim’s face, with blood on her lips, in her mouth and spattered on her shirt. She alleged that Foster had punched her and kicked her multiple times, and that he hit her with a floor lamp.A broken lamp was found inside the residence, authorities said.Foster was not in custody before the Warren County Record went to press Wednesday. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.Crime
