To The Editor:
The Warren County Senior Center would like to extend a HUGE thank you to Eric Pitman of Pitman Funeral Home for the generous donation of a processed hog from this year’s Warren County Fair.
This is the first time we’ve been blessed with such a donation and we are thrilled to receive the support. Our center continues to see a growing need for the meal services that we provide.
However, we also continue to see a decline in funding and contribution support. A donation such as this helps ease the sting of rising food costs and ensures that we can continue to serve area seniors. This is a donation that will provide an immediate benefit to those individuals who use our program.
It is a great feeling to know our center’s mission had the support and appreciation of our community.
