To The Editor:Thanks, Mike Shilharvey!Mike was the only member of the Warrenton Board of Alderman to vote to send a representative to the committee to bring a trade-oriented community college to Warren County. He clearly represented his ward and the Warrenton community. He realizes that a skilled labor force is a valuable asset to a community. This would make training beyond high school affordable to many young people in the community.I am personally appalled that the other members of the board would not support this effort. One board member stated that he did not want to further tax the people or school districts of the community. This is not for him to decide. This tax issue would have come to the community in the form of a vote.Let the people decide!Again thanks, Mike Shilharvey!Mary Bracht, Warrenton
