An 18-year-old Warrenton teen planned to mix crushed medication and baking soda in an attempt to sell it as cocaine, authorities reported.The teen, identified as David L. Martin, of the 100 block of Morgan Trail Court, was charged with attempting delivery or manufacturing of an imitation controlled substance. He was booked on a $5,000 bond.Warrenton police responded to Martin’s residence Nov. 2 in reference to a dangerous drugs investigation. Martin allegedly told an officer he was in debt and was trying to make money.He told police he had a transaction set up where he planned to sell a half-ounce of the mixture to a classmate for $800, according to the probable cause statement.Charged
