An 18-year-old Warrenton teenager is facing two criminal charges in connection with a “hill jumping” crash that killed one person. Cameron N. Kopecky, of the 31000 block of Checotah Lane, was charged last week with felony involuntary manslaughter and one misdemeanor count of operating a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner. The crash occurred July 23, 2013, around 9:25 p.m. on Township Line Road two miles west of Highway 47The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Kopecky was driving on Township Line Road and was “hill jumping” when he collided with another vehicle that had stopped in the roadway due to an accident ahead. Deborah A. Hughes, 58, of Warrenton, died July 29 as result of injuries she sustained in the accident.
