Two people were taken to the hospital April 24 after being involved in a crash on Highway M in Warrenton.A 1988 GMC 1500 traveling east toward Franklin Road drove off the left side of the roadway around 2:20 a.m., according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The driver of the truck overcorrected, driving off the right side of the road before overturning and striking a utility pole.The passenger in the vehicle, Austin Ponder, 18, of Warrenton, received moderate injuries in the crash, according to a highway patrol preliminary report. Ponder was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.The driver of the vehicle, Jonathan N. Krause, 21, also of Warrenton, had minor injuries. He was wearing a seat belt.Both occupants were taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis by Warren County Ambulance.Crash
