A Warrenton teen has been charged with two counts of first-degree statutory rape after allegedly having sex with a minor under the age of 14.Jacob Nelson, 17, is charged in Warren County Circuit Court with two counts of first-degree statutory rape. Prosecutors requested a $50,000 bond.Nelson allegedly admitted to police during a November interview that he had consensual sex with the minor on at least two occasions, according to a police report.Nelson reportedly said one of the incidents happened after the minor’s parents left him at their residence with the minor, and that he was drunk at the time.After an interview with the minor, investigators concluded that on a separate occasion Nelson engaged sexual contact without the minor’s consent while staying the night at the minor’s residence, according to the report.Nelson reportedly told police all sexual contact with the minor was consensual.
