Warren County tax payments for 2016 must be received or postmarked by Dec. 31.Payments can be made by mail to the Warren County Collector, 101 Mockingbird Lane, Suite 200, Warrenton, MO 63383.Payments also can be dropped off in person at the drop box on the right side of the door at the Warren County Administration Building or online at www.warrencountymo.org under the collector tab.Payments made before Dec. 31, or postmarked by Dec. 31, will avoid late penalties and fees.As a reminder, Dec. 31 is a Saturday. The collector’s office is closed on Saturdays.The failure of a taxpayer to receive the notice provided for in Section 52.230, RSMo in no case relieves the taxpayer of any tax liability imposed by law. By now residents should have received their tax bills.
