The perfect recipe for creating new memories with loved ones includes good friends, good conversation and, of course, great food.As home cooks across the country head back to the kitchen to cook up fall’s flavorful dishes, the Taste of Home Cooking School is preparing to share seasonal recipes that are certain to delight.Taste of Home’s Culinary Specialist Karen Davis will be at First Christian Church on Saturday, Nov. 14, to share her home cooking tips and tricks while demonstrating step-by-step recipes for the season’s best dishes. This season’s event is brought to Washington by Emmaus Homes.All attendees will receive a gift bag including the Taste of Home Cooking School magazine and other giveaways. VIP and Super VIP ticket upgrades are available and packages include the newest “Holidays and Celebrations” cookbook; Super VIPs will enjoy a catered lunch from The Blue Duck. Some attendees will go home with an exciting door prize, one of the tasty recipes created onstage that night or our grand prizes, including a three-month membership to the YMCA and a weekend getaway at the DeBourge House with dinner at Sugarfire Smokehouse.Tickets are on sale now!
