A late crash with under 10 laps to go ruined an otherwise strong run for Tyler Tanner and MB Motorsports Saturday at Talladega Speedway.Tanner was running just outside the top 10 in the No. 63 Chevrolet when the multi-truck crash occurred in the NASCAR Truck Series race. He was one of 10 trucks involved.Tanner wound up finishing 26th. He completed 91 of 98 laps on the famed 2.66-mile speedway.“We were methodically working our way through the field,” said Tanner in a press release. “We started 28th and worked our way up toward the top 10. Things always get crazy toward the end of the race at Talladega. We just weren’t lucky enough to make it through. At least the team can feel good about the solid run we had for the first 91 laps.”The Truck Series goes from the longest track on the circuit to one of the shortest. MB Motorsports will field two entries this Saturday when dirt-track driver Bobby Pierce makes his asphalt debut in the No. 63 truck at Martinsville Speedway.Pierce captured the pole and finished second in his debut race earlier this year at Eldora.Brandon Hightower, a super late model driver, will make his Truck Series debut in the No. 36.
