A Pendleton man is accused of forcing his way into a home and attacking two people inside.The victims, who were at a home on the 11000 block of Highway M in Warren County, told law enforcement they were assaulted Sunday, May 28, by Steven E. Corder, 52, who was with another unknown male armed with a knife.According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, Corder sprayed the victims with tear gas and struck them in their faces and bodies while the other suspect remained in the house. A detective observed injuries on the victims, including lacerations and other injuries on their faces, according to the sheriff’s department.Corder was located June 2. He admitted to the attack, authorities said.He is charged with first-degree burglary and two counts of third-degree assault.The burglary charge comes with five to 15 years in prison if convicted, and four years each for the assault charges.Corder is out of jail on a $30,000 bond. He had an arraignment scheduled for June 14 at the Warren County Circuit Court.Steven Corder
