A storm drainage issue in the Heritage Hills subdivision is improving, said Public Works Director Gilbert Nordwald at the Truesdale Board of Aldermen meeting on Oct. 14.Storm drains on the north and south side of Austin Drive have been completed. Other storm drains in the subdivision will also be evaluated to determine if any need to be replaced.Also at the meeting, the board voted unanimously to issue a business license for Woody’s Automotive, LLC, located at 801 Smith St. The new owners have purchased the assets of K&S Tires and plan to sell new and used tires. They intend to open a repair shop and sell used vehicles in the future.The city also issued a proclamation designating November as Diabetes Awareness Month and announced the Dec. 9 meeting will be rescheduled for Dec. 16.
