A Warren County man is facing multiple felony charges after a recent search by authorities resulted in the discovery of suspected stolen property and an alleged methamphetamine laboratory at a Wright City area residence, according to Prosecuting Attorney Mike Wright. Shane B. Crossno, 39, Wright City, is charged with one count of receiving stolen property, one count of manufacturing a controlled substance and one count of possession of methamphetamine. Bond in the stolen property case was set at $10,000, according to court records. Crossno's bond in the drug case was set at $35,000. On April 20, the Warren County Sheriff's Department responded to a burglary complaint at the APAC Missouri quarry at 30881 Highway J in Wright City. Authorities spoke with the reporting party, General Manager Richard Wagner, who reported that numerous items had been taken from buildings and vehicles on the property. Items reported stolen included an aluminum truck box, a Cobra CB radio, a ratchet chain hoist, cable chain hoist, a DeWalt drill, angle grinders, an acetylene tank, cutting torches and gauges, jumper cables; A 50-gallon fuel tank with placards, a hand-operated fuel pump, various sockets and ratchets, impact wrenches, hammers, punches and drill bits, an air chisel, a hook-and-receiver hitch, an oxygen tank for an acetylene torch kit and a safety harness. The estimated value of the items was over $500, according to Wagner. A search warrant was executed May 8 at Crossno's residence in the 12000 block of White Lane, the sheriff's department reported. A number of the items reported stolen were located, according to the sheriff's department. Crossno told sheriff's deputies that another person brought the items to his residence, adding that he thought the items had been stolen after he attempted to exchange the oxygen tank. While the search was under way, items commonly used in the production and use of methamphetamine allegedly were located. A baggie with alleged methamphetamine residue also was found, according to a probable cause statement. The contents of the baggie field tested for the presence of methamphetamine, the sheriff's department stated. Crossno was taken into custody the day the search was conducted.
